When you submit a booking request, we collect:

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Trip details (dates, delivery address if applicable, add-on selections)
• Driver's license photos, for identity and eligibility verification
• Payment card information, processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never receive or store your full card number ourselves

How We Use Your Information

• To process and manage your booking, including confirmations, payment, and your rental agreement
• To communicate with you about your reservation by email and text message — confirmations, payment receipts, key exchange, and trip-related updates
• To verify driver eligibility and meet our legal and insurance obligations
• To maintain records required for security deposit and damage documentation

Text Messages (SMS)

If you provide a phone number when booking, you may receive text messages related to your reservation — booking confirmations, payment receipts, key exchange and return notices, and deposit updates. Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for assistance.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your number is used solely to communicate with you about your own reservation.

Who We Share Information With

We share information only as needed to operate our business:

• Stripe — to process payments and security deposits
• Twilio — to deliver text message notifications
• Resend — to deliver email notifications
• Supabase — our database provider, which stores your booking information securely

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.

Data Retention

We retain booking records, including driver's license photos and signed agreements, for as long as reasonably necessary for legal, insurance, and business record-keeping purposes.

Your Rights

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request its deletion (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations) by contacting us using the information below.
