Booking & Payment

Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes — a 3-night minimum applies year-round, and a 5-night minimum applies to any rental that includes dates during peak season (the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day). Nightly rates are set per date and can be higher around holidays, local events, and peak weekends — the booking calendar shows the exact rate for each night of your stay.
How does payment work?
Once your booking is confirmed, 50% is due immediately and the remaining 50% is due 30 days before your trip — or, if you're booking 30 or more days out, you can choose to pay in full upfront instead. If you book fewer than 30 days out, the full amount is due at confirmation. Your rental total includes applicable Texas rental tax. The $1,000 refundable security deposit is placed as a hold on your card a couple of days before your trip — separate from your rental payment, and not subject to that tax. All payments are processed securely by card through Stripe.
What's your cancellation policy?
If you cancel 30 or more days before your trip, you'll receive a full refund of the rental total. Cancellations fewer than 30 days before the trip are non-refundable. If your booking was made fewer than 30 days before the trip itself, you can still get a full refund by cancelling within 1 hour of booking — after that, it's non-refundable. The $1,000 security deposit is handled completely separately and is always refundable, subject only to damage, regardless of the rental-total refund outcome above.
How far in advance can I book?
Our booking calendar covers a full 24 months out, so you can plan and lock in dates as much as 24 months in advance — or book the same day if the trailer's open.
Can I book last minute?
Yes! Same-day bookings are welcome as long as the trailer is available. We accept or decline every request within 24 hours, often much sooner.
Why do you need a photo of my driver's license?
For pickup bookings (no delivery), we require a front and back photo of your driver's license as part of identity verification before handing over a trailer. If you choose delivery instead, we verify your ID in person when we arrive, so the upload isn't required in that case.

Delivery & Setup

Can you deliver the trailer to my campsite?
Yes! We deliver up to 130 miles from Seguin, TX. Delivery within 30 miles is a flat $200 round trip. Beyond 30 miles, it's $200 + $5 per mile over 30. Just enter your destination on the booking page and the fee calculates automatically.
What if I don't have a truck, or I've never towed before?
That's exactly what our delivery service is for. We'll tow the trailer to your campsite, event, or property, level it, and get it set up — you never have to hitch, back up, or tow anything. A lot of our guests are first-timers who'd rather skip that part entirely, and it's often the easiest way to go. Just choose delivery when you book and we'll handle the rest.
How does delivery and setup actually work?
You reserve your campsite or pick your location, then book your dates with us and add delivery. We coordinate a drop-off time — usually your campground's check-in — and meet you there or set up before you arrive. We level the trailer and connect it to the site's power and water where available, then walk you through everything. At the end of your trip you just pack up and go; we come back to retrieve it.
Will my campground allow a delivered rental?
Most campgrounds and RV parks do, but not all — some restrict third-party deliveries or only allow approved vendors. It's worth a quick call to your park to confirm they allow a delivered rental and that your site fits the trailer's length before you book. If you're not sure, let us know where you're headed and we can often help you check.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Seguin, TX and deliver throughout South Central Texas — including New Braunfels, San Marcos, Canyon Lake, Gruene, Schertz, Cibolo, San Antonio, Austin, Kyle, Buda, Boerne, Lockhart, and Luling — up to 130 miles from Seguin. You're also welcome to pick up in Seguin and tow it yourself. Enter your destination on the booking page and the exact delivery fee calculates automatically.
What do I need to tow this trailer?
You'll need a truck or SUV rated to tow at least 10,000 lbs, a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball, a weight distributing hitch, an anti-sway bar, and a brake controller. A 7-pin trailer connector is also required. If you're not sure your vehicle qualifies, send us a message and we'll help you figure it out before you book.
Do I need a special license to rent or tow an RV?
No — a standard driver's license is all you need. Our travel trailers tow behind a properly equipped truck or SUV, and no commercial or special license is required. If you're renting a motorhome, you drive it on your regular license too. The only thing that matters is that your tow vehicle is rated for the trailer — and we're happy to check that with you before you book.

Your Trip & The Trailer

What's included — what do I need to bring?
The trailer comes clean and stocked with the essentials: linens, towels, kitchenware, and the basics to get you started. You bring food, clothes, and any personal items. On-demand hot water and WiFi are included. If there's something specific you're wondering about, just ask before your trip and we'll let you know whether it's already on board.
It sleeps 10 — but how many people is that comfortably?
Great question, because "sleeps 10" and "comfortable for 10" aren't always the same thing. Our bunkhouse layout has a private master bed for two, a dedicated bunk room for the kids, and convertible sleeping in the living area — so a family of 6 to 8 has genuine room to spread out, with everyone in a real sleeping spot rather than reshuffling furniture every night. You can absolutely sleep 10, and it's ideal for a big family or a couple of families sharing — just know that at a full 10 the daytime living and storage space is shared more tightly. For most groups, 6 to 8 is the sweet spot for comfort, and 10 works well when some of those are kids. Tell us your group and we'll help you figure out if it's the right fit.
How well does the air conditioning hold up in Texas heat?
Our trailers run roof-mounted A/C, and the honest truth about any RV air conditioner is that it cools roughly 20 degrees below the outside temperature — so on a 100° afternoon, expect a comfortable low-80s inside, cooler once the sun drops. A few things make a big difference: start the A/C early in the morning before the heat builds rather than trying to cool a hot trailer, keep the shades drawn on the sunny side, and book a campsite with the right power hookup so the unit runs at full strength. Set up right, it keeps up with a Texas summer just fine — but we'd rather tell you what to expect than oversell it. If cooling is a concern for your dates, give us a call and we'll talk it through.
Are pets allowed?
Absolutely — we're pet friendly, and there's no upfront fee just to bring one along. A vacuum, mop, and broom are provided in the Volante. If extra cleaning is genuinely needed after your trip, a $100 fee may be drawn from your security deposit to cover it — but that only happens if it's actually required, not automatically.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 5:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM, same as a typical hotel policy. These are our standard times — if you need something different, just reach out to us directly by phone or email and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Do I have to deal with the tanks, or dump anything?
For delivered stays, we handle the setup and the tanks — you enjoy the trip without worrying about hookups or dumping. If you tow the trailer yourself, we'll show you how the fresh, gray, and black tanks work during your walkthrough, and it's more straightforward than most first-timers expect. Either way, you won't be left to figure it out alone.
Is the RV insured, and what am I responsible for?
The trailer carries commercial coverage while it's in our care and during delivery. Once it's set up and in your hands, you're responsible for it during your stay, which is what the refundable $1,000 security deposit covers — accidental damage beyond normal wear is assessed against that deposit after return, and we always walk you through anything found before withholding a cent. For trips where you tow it yourself, your own auto policy typically covers towing; check with your agent to be sure.
What if something breaks during my trip?
Call us at 830-263-8883 — available throughout your rental period. Minor wear and tear is expected and covered. For accidental damage beyond that, repair or replacement costs are assessed against your $1,000 security deposit after the trailer's returned, and we'll always walk you through exactly what was found before anything is withheld.

For RV Owners

Do you offer a consignment program for RV owners?
Yes — we're actively building out a consignment program where RV owners can list their trailers through Spangler's. We handle bookings, guest communication, and cleaning coordination while you share in the rental income. Visit the RV Owners page to learn more.
